Always a great experience with the food. I live far but every time i go down to LA its given i will grab a few dozen empanadas and turon for our family and to share to my friends.
The one star i gave up is for that one lady in the store. Not very friendly and not accommodating. Good thing their turon and empanada is not as cold as her or else this place will be gone a long time ago.
But back on the positive note the rest of the team (I think they're family, siblings i believe) were very warm and friendly.
Perhaps ate and kuya Aristocrats we can tell that one lady to give it a try to smile and be friendly.. even just a tad bit coz to be honest she makes me feel awkward coming in to the store. -

Best Turon in the valley. The banana is ripe and the outer layer is effect glazed. Parking sucks.

I ordered 3 dozens of their turon and 5 pieces of chicken empanada to bring to my job's potluck. The turon was a hit!!! Everyone couldnt stop eating them. They were perfectly made with enough coating of the brown sugar unlike other places that I've tried. Every bite was just crunchy and savory. I enjoyed every bite of it. The empanadas were huge and full. The crust was made to perfection. Cant wait for the next gathering to bring these. The prices are reasonable considering the size and quality. I'm a huge fan....In my opinion, this is definitely the BEST turon and empanada that I've had

The turon here is expertly crafted, consistently neatly shaped and glazed, always crispy, and the filling of plantain and jackfruit is generous and well-proportional to the size of the shell.
What really makes the turon stand out here, as I said, is the consistency. It's a simple treat, but like all things that are simple, the attention to detail stands out even more, and they really take pride in their work.
Besides the turon, the chicken empanadas are delicious! I've honestly not generally been a fan of most Filipino empanadas growing up, but the chicken empanadas here are generously stuffed, well seasoned, and enjoyably moist.
After some questioning, I was able to learn that they stop cooking about 2 hours before closing, so that if you want to make sure they have what you want if you come any later than that, you should call ahead and reserve your quantity.
Besides the timing issues with making sure you get what you came for, the parking situation in this strip mall is also rather difficult, but that's not their fault, and I don't factor that into the rating, just like to include it as a useful note. Usually, I'm in the area to also shop at Seafood City, pick up fried chicken at Jollibee, or some freshly fried crispy pata from Goto King N Toppings, so I park there, run my errands, and then walk on over to pick up turon and empanadas before I leave.
